too long has it been since I last here I am writing again

Morning SpringSometimes when I wake I like to Wriggle under the duvet And do head-over-heels over my pillow. I wrap into a worm And roll around Sometimes making Corresponding noises Like giggles and alien sounds. I break free stretching. On these mornings Before I open the curtains I know it is sunny And fresh Because in winter I hide under blankets And I go back to sleep.

In eight months, I will begin my exciting journey through college. The passage from high school to college is littered with broken friendships and sad goodbyes; however, it is an opportunity to break from the past and start anew.
